A hidden gem Violets Beauty Bar & Body Piercing The Courtyard Haxby York! These ladies are amazing, a lovely, warm welcome on arrival.
Friendly & professional, they looked after me from start to finish. Amazing coffee, refilled & water too. Nothing was too much trouble - I dont have the best nails, thin and severely bitten to the quick! I've been biting all my life and desperately want my own nails, but i can never get there without them splitting as so weak. I've had some stress, too, so they are bitten/chewed more than usual. However, Freya sorted them out, and they look amazing. Highly recommended. Im even eyeing up a piercing ? see you both soon xx

Beautiful gel nails painted by Yvonne who kindly fitted me in at short notice.
A lovely little place with really friendly, welcoming staff and today sausage dogs and gorgeous sleepy babies...a little haven! Late to the party having my nails professionally done and will definitely be back!

I can't recommend Freya, Yvonne and Hayley highly enough. Their work is outstanding, very clever and creative ladies! My nails look fantastic and they managed to squeeze myself and my Mum in last minute so we could have festive fingers for Christmas! Thank you so much. A truly lovely bunch of people

Freya is absolutely amazing. I have spent months looking for a decent person who can do my eyebrows how I like them and she absolutely smashed it.
The feeling you get when walking into her place is like entering your own home, it's friendly warm and such a chill place. Will definitely be going again.

I have been coming to Violets for two years now after a recommendation from a friend.
Everyone is SO friendly, so welcoming & so professional. I have had various services including acrylics, gels, hybrid lashes, lash lift, eyebrow thread & tint, eyebrow lamination, facial, & a few piercings. I was and remain happy with all my services I have had here.

went here for my first piercing , i was very scared but the lovely workers here let me pet the dog that was there . her name is coco shes adorable
anyway my piercing is healing great and the jewellery looks stunning

Great place. Very friendly and knowledgeable. My son and I had a piercing and we've had zero issues since. We went to the popular high street piercing place last year and neither healed properly, both closed as they reacted badly to the gun and jewellery. I highly recommend violets especially for first timers and children. It's inexpensive and you have a selection of earrings to choose from.
