Kristi was absolutely fantastic to work with on my wedding day. Even with just 5 weeks' notice for my elopement, she managed to fit me into her schedule, do a trial run, and make me feel stunning on my special day. Her communication was excellent, she was punctual, and her talent as a makeup artist is exceptional. I typically wear minimal makeup, so I asked for a natural look that would last all day and still stand out in photos. Kristi exceeded all my expectations. My makeup stayed perfect throughout the day, and she went the extra mile to understand my skin type, color preferences, and overall vision for my wedding makeup. She even helped me with recommendations for flowers and photographers when I had trouble finding available vendors. I highly recommend Kristi for any special event and will definitely be booking her again in the future!

You cannot go wrong with hiring Kristi as your makeup artist! I have been working with Kristi since I was just 12 years old and she recently glammed me for my wedding day in September. She is so kind and very easy to work with. She is great at understanding what your vision is and is very detail-focussed with her makeup application. Our wedding morning went so smoothly thanks to her and her professionalism. I was so happy with how my makeup turned out and lasted. Kristi did my bridal makeup for my wedding! I found her through my wedding coordinator as she was on their preferred vendor list. I looked through her online portfolio and Instagram photos and felt her style was perfect for me and exactly the look I was going for. My mom and I both booked makeup trials, my mom was on the fence about whether or not to have makeup done professionally for my wedding so having a trial for her sealed the deal! Kristi was so kind and thorough with my mom and made her not only look incredibly fabulous but made her feel comfortable throughout the entire process. From the day I initially contacted Kristi through my wedding day, she was quick to respond and very professional. The lipstick emoji in her email subject made it so easy to go back and find all our communication quickly. She worked seamlessly with our coordinator and hair stylist for arranging the timeline. The day of my wedding, she was ON TIME and executed the scheduled timeline perfectly working alongside two hair stylists and was such a pleasure to be around. She did an absolutely amazing job on makeup for myself, my mom, AND 4 bridesmaids. She offered touch up tips and products to have on hand to keep my makeup lasting all day and night, which it did. I am a crier and my makeup was soft and comfortable yet bulletproof and stayed FLAWLESS all night long. I highly recommend Kristi for your professional makeup! After searching for a makeup artist for some time, I was feeling frustrated by either the high costs, abusive contracts, or make up styles that didn't fit my preference. Finally after casting a larger net, I came across Kristi of Makeup Box who happened to be a travel makeup artist. We were having a destination wedding in Carmel, CA, so I was nervous of the travel costs. However, Kristi was totally reasonable, had years and years of experience, and her portfolio was beautiful. Once on the phone with her, I knew I wanted to work with her! She was kind, charming, funny, and knowledgeable. She was also very flexible with me and our schedules, and she styled me for our rehearsal dinner as the trial. I was able to send her inspiration photos of what I wanted, and we discussed the vision. In the end, she exceeded my expectations, and I felt like the most beautiful bride! She also styled 6 other bridesmaids and moms, and everyone had different needs and preferences. We all walked away gorgeous and confident. Her products were also exceptional. She did not use cheap products or cut corners. Despite all the tears that day, my makeup stayed on! Kristi even made me a goodie bag to keep me going all day- things like a lip and concealer touch up. I would recommend Kristi to everyone, and will definitely be using her again in the future. She is so talented!!

I had a last minute magazine cover shoot and was recommended to Kristi literally the night before. She fit me in before a wedding party and my make up was absolutely FLAWLESS! I am black with dark skin and I mentioned this but she assured me she had colors to match me and the products she used were amazing. As a Black woman this has to be said—it is wonderful to know that a make up artist is fully prepared to care for all sorts of skin! It was such an amazing experience and I can’t wait to have an occasion to book with them again!

Kristi did my makeup for my wedding and it was absolutely amazing & beyond my wildest dreams! She made me look like a natural, golden, glowy princess. She was so incredibly kind, understanding and helpful. I highly recommend her to anyone!!! She is the BEST!!
