No one takes charge of an issue. When i call one person transfers me to another and the other to another and no one knows how to handle it. Last time i called the window department i was on hold for the longest time and before listening to my issue they transfer me to appliances when i needed someone on the window department. The windows that i ordered came like that or without the strings or screens of the windows and their fix was for them to send me the stuff for me to fix it.

I really wanted to paint my front door about a month ago and I went to Home Depot to pick up samples. The gentleman, Jonathan, in the paint section gave me great advice about buying two sample cans instead of a pint or quote and this saved me about $20. This weekend, I went in with my whole family to look at paint colors for my oldest son’s room, the living room and my bedroom. Jonathan was working again and was a huge help. He color matched Sonic the Hedgehog for my son, gave advice on color compatibility and then mixed our 8 samples. He’s a gem and I will always ask for him when I need to refresh the paint in our home.

Today, we bought a patio dining table and six coordinating chairs. We made our purchase, and told the store we would be by with our truck 2-3 hours later to collect our purchases.

When my hubby arrived 3 hours later to pick up our patio set—he was informed they had sold one of our already- purchased chairs to someone else! We had purchased the last six in stock, so now there are only five chairs for a table that seats six.

How on earth does a mistake like this happen? They acted as if this was no big deal. Told my hubby we could wait until next year to purchase a sixth chair. Didn’t offer to search their other stores to see if they could, perhaps, source another chair for us. Why weren’t our purchases pulled from the floor or else tagged so that they couldn’t be sold to another customer, in the first place?

Terrible handling of our purchases, and terrible customer service. I think it will be a very long time before I give Home Depot another chance.

I as a pro contractor will never go to the Abilene store to buy anything after my experience today. I had a store pick up shipment that was confirmed to pick up Saturday morning. I sent two employees to pick up other materials along with the store pick up. The snotty lady told them it wasn't at the store yet. Long story short, my employees arguing in the store and me arguing over the phone for over two hours, all the sudden well they will have to load it by hand. Well do it, how do they load something that isn't there. I have time to time issues with HD but this was beyond unexceptable. I will be calling corporate about this tomorrow.

Horrible customer service. I called and they put me on hold for no reason and there was no clear communication and I ask to see if they had a part available and the lady was lazy and did not even check to see if it was available and was completely rude. I do not recommend this store.

1000 percent better than my visit to Lowe's a few days ago. All the staff here were asking if I needed help and they were all pleasant

Associates are always helpful I can always find anything I need in their prices are reasonable and right now they have good sales going on for Christmas

Some of the staff is a little less than willing to do their job (appliances) but other than that a very helpful store. The checkout staff is always top tier.
