I have been going to this establishment for 9 years now. Vivian makes you feel relaxed and she performs exceptional services. She really cares about her clients and makes sure they are pleased. I have the pleasure of knowing the Owners Tammy and Kevin and all the employees. I also have had personal experience with most of the employees. All are great!!! Always satisfied and leave there relaxed and feeling refreshed.

I was shocked when i got a manicure before my nail set. No other place I’ve been too does that!
My nail tech Vivian who i met is so talented! My nails came out better than i expected and she does all types of designs.

I’m very disappointed in my service. I’ve been going to Vivian a long time (before she was even at this shop) and never had any major issue before. The last time wasn’t the best but also wasn’t a huge deal. Vivian insisted on gelX because it was “easier” for her but it turned out to be a VERY expensive press-on. However, the other day I had the WORST experience. I came in as a walk in and she told me she didn’t have time at that moment so we set an appointment for me to come back later that day. I had no problem with this because at least she got me in prior to the holiday so I was grateful. I arrived on time for my appointment and she was working on another client. No big deal, it happens. So I wait. As that client got up, another sat in her chair. Apparently the service was started, and had to be finished. At this point, I’m extremely annoyed but I don’t fuss. I made the best of the situation and tried to partake in the conversation. Finally after about 2.5 hours (after my appointment time) it was my turn. While annoyed, I’m thinking no big deal. My service should be done by the time they close the shop, right? WRONG. About HALFWAY through my nails they were closing the shop and asked that I pay. Even though this isn’t something you should do until the end, I did. What else could I do?
She asked several times what color I wanted and I told her black. She kept pushing glitters and other polishes because she didn’t find what I wanted “fun”. Because I can be somewhat of a people pleaser we ended up doing what she wanted. A neutral with a black and silver design that she believed was “perfect for new years”.
Finally at about 8:30 pm we finished my very basic set of acrylics. I was beyond agitated. To her credit, she did provide drinks and snacks. But that was severely overshadowed by the fact that at that point I had been sitting in the shop for 5.5 hours! We then began my pedicure. She then began digging into an “in grown” which she’d never done before. Several times I told her she was hurting me. Finally I told her to stop because I was getting cranky and didn’t want her to keep digging at something that didn’t need to be done. We finally finished at a few minutes before 10pm. I paid for a full pedicure and got a slight upgrade from a polish change. She did offer a massage but at that time of night I was over it and just wanted to go home. I sat there for a total of 7 hours for a basic set and less than basic pedicure! I was pissed!!!!
The next my toe hurt and for some reason my finger tips were sore too. I went back in to the shop and asked to speak with a manager or owner but the gentleman had me speak with Vivian. I told her that I was very upset about the issues from the night before and now I was very uncomfortable. She offered to soak the acrylics off but couldn’t redo them because the nail would be too soft. She also said that she could cut them down because it could be because I wasn’t used to them…. I’ve been getting my nails done for over 20 years. I think at this point I’d be used to having a new set. I told her that after the previous night I just didn’t want to sit there for an indefinite amount of time. I also didn’t want to waste my money on a set I had on for less than 24 hours. I decided to give it a little more time to see if it really was because I had gone a few months without any acrylic. Here we are 48 hours later and I feel like my fingers were pinched in a door. I have to soak them off myself AND I didn’t get my money back. I’ll be honest I did and still do want my money back but it’s not just about that. It’s because of the experience overall. And if that wasn’t enough, the personal things that were discussed between her and the previous client were definitely not things you should tell anyone but salon conversations are sacred so I won’t go into that but I was definitely not ok with that either. I don’t know what’s happened since she changed shops but I definitely wont be Going back.
