I have attended an advanced Professional Makeup Course with Francesco Lo Cascio which is a wonderful teacher MUA and amazing human being. Francesco provided a one to one course, especially designed to satisfy my needs and improving my personal skills. Every day was a real challenge with my self, but in best way possible. He helped me gaining my consciousness as an artist giving me his suggestions and feedback. He was always supporting and super professional during every single day of training.
I do recommend Studio 50 Makeup School in London Brixton, to all students from basic up to high professional level.

I have attended a part-time course with Studio 50 and it was wonderful. The owner of the school - Francesco truly cares about his students and does a lot for each and everyone of us. We had an amazing opportunity to not only practice in class, but also do a professional photo shoot. Before I joined studio 50, I called many make up schools in London, but only Francesco made me feel that studying here will be fun, enjoyable and useful. We worked with different models, different make up artists and different looks. The only thing of which I must warn you though is that it’s addictive and once you join you never want to leave ?

I must agree with all the other reviews, this is a fantastic course. I attended the full time foundation course and I absolutely loved it, would really reccommend! Francesco is a great makeup artist but most importantly a great teacher. I really appreciated that he explains everything clearly but leaves you to explore your own creative ideas. He definitely made me feel welcome and was encouraging and supportive, and I feel like he is one of the reasons I feel confident about calling myself a makeup artist now. He really cares about the school and it shows! The aftercare programme is also super useful, I already assisted him on set and gained valuable experience. Thank you so much for an unforgettable experience

Such a lovely makeup school! Francesco is knowledgeable and kind as well as very talented. He’s a brilliant teacher because he manages to make every lesson feel like it’s one to one as each student gets in depth support and advice. I really enjoyed the small class size (6 students), it’s great because you can easily get to know everyone and get detailed support from the teacher. The room itself is beautiful and the makeup available is equally gorgeous. I would highly recommend Studio 50 for anyone of any age who wants to develop their skill in a fun and relaxed environment.

The best school in London. I have seen many schools in London, but none havn’tconvinced me. When I met Francesco for the first time, he made confortable me and helped me choose the most suitable course for me. I have learned so many things and Francesco is a lovely person. He helped me with all my doubts. He teaches with a lot of passion and love for this job, I am very happy to have taken this course. Francesco is a brilliant makeup professional with a vocation to teach. I had the opportunity to do their Essential Beginners two-day course and learned a lot in a short time. Francesco answered all my questions with the best disposition and knowledge. He was always very aware of the needs of his students. I recently completed the 2 week full time Foundation course and WoW what an incredible experience. Francesco is the most generous man, not only with his knowledge but with his heart and soul too. His passion for the industry is evident throughout. The course content is very thorough, the teaching standard exceptional from Francesco and guest tutors Christina and Maria. Small numbers of students in the class enables a lot of one-to-one tuition and time for questions. Having finished the course I now feel part of a larger extended network as Francesco keeps in touch offering the opportunity to get more experience in various other ways. I feel very grateful to have discovered Francesco and Studio 50 and have no doubt that if you choose Studio 50 you will not be disappointed. As a central London Make Up School it has the winning formula!
