I trust Shara Strand and only Shara Strand to make me look fabulous. Her makeup applications and brow shapings are A+. I am so thrilled to get an appointment as I know she is always working with celebrities and politicians. Her makeup and skin care line are absolutely incredible- my skin has never looked better and I’m in my mid 40s. I see Shara once every 3-4 months to discuss my makeup routine. She always has the best tips and tricks that get me so many compliments. Her staff is also very talented and when I don’t get to work with Shara, I know I’m in good hands (especially with Alex). I wish I could give 100 stars.”

I first went to Shara in 2012 to get my makeup done and also learn from her. I really wanted to do my own makeup for my wedding and Shara - a true pro - was totally on board with making my dream a reality. She was so patient in teaching me all sorts of makeup application techniques and totally stuck to my goal of having a pretty natural look. There was no upselling of products and she used a lot of things I already owned. BUT I have to say - Shara’s makeup line is AMAZING. I am still a loyal customer, regularly ordering her products even though I no longer live in the city. Highly recommend Shara and her entire team!

My makeup game got a big boost thanks to Shara! I was worried because tan skin tones can be tricky, but Shara not only helped me figure out shades, she also transformed my look into exactly what I wanted, all while patiently teaching me how. I also bought a high-quality product from her. All throughout, she was very kind, motivating, and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!

WOW! I recently booked a studio makeup lesson with Michelle at Shara Makeup, and I could not have been happier with the experience! I've taken several makeup classes, but none made me feel as effortlessly confident as the one with Michelle. Michelle is wonderfully warm, personable, and genuine, and she has a combination of skills I've yet to find in another makeup professional---not only does she herself have incredible technique, but she has also has a wonderful gift for teaching others about technique. I LOVED how Michelle modeled and then helped me mimic her application of various products---thanks to her, I left the studio feeling confident in my ability to select and apply types of makeup (blush and eyebrow makeup!) that had always given me so much trouble! Choosing a makeup artist to learn from is a tough decision, but you can't go wrong with Michelle---she's a true professional and an immensely talented artist, and I can't wait to visit her the next time I'm in the city!

I was looking for a salon that would give my two teenage daughters a make up lesson and not push particular product lines - Shara and her team were unbelievable with my girls. They listened to how make up could be incorporated into their busy athletic lifestyle and really made them feel beautiful. I am planning to make an appointment for myself! Thank you Team Shara!
