Sandra and Lilian are very talented artists and such lovely people to work with! I felt so beautiful on my wedding day, and my curls and makeup held up the entire night! All of my bridesmaids loved their looks as well and gave such positive feedback. The entire booking process, trial, and wedding day felt effortless! I went to Sandra in tears with a full hair and makeup.

I was visiting DMV area for my best friends engagement.

The makeup artist for the bridal party did my makeup and it was not bad… but made me feel horrible… I just didn’t feel like myself… skin tone was too yellow, the contour reminded me of 2017… okay, it was probably bad… but I think that’s wrong to say. It just wasn’t for me.

I quickly looked on Google and found Sandra’s page. I was specifically looking for airbrush and she was only one of 3 people who did airbrush.

Although, she was short on time… and I have VERY high expectations, I left her place a happy girl and feeeling SOOOOOO GOOOD.

She really took care of me.

My sisters in Canada are some of the best bridal artists, and sitting in her chair I felt the same. Spoiled & Pretty.

Sandra and her team were phenomenal! I wanted a natural but glowy look and Sandra gave me just that. I was a little nervous just because I really don’t wear much makeup but she did it so nicely it did not look overdone at all. I was also nervous about false lashes because they can weigh down my eyes but Sandra tested out multiple lashes with me to fine the ones that worked best (clusters).
She was so sweet from our first consultation phone call to the trials to the big day! She’s incredibly organized and out together a perfect day of schedule to navigate 8 of us getting hair and makeup done on time! Lilian was also wonderful (she did my hair and a few of my bridesmaids). We had a team of four for the day - Sandra, Lilian, Diana and Natalie and all of my bridesmaids and my mom were so happy with their hair and makeup. It also lasted all night long! SMA is a great vendor and I highly recommend them for your big event!

My wedding was well over a year ago so I didn't want any more time to pass before leaving my review for Sandra! I'm so thankful she was a part of our day and I think it speaks volumes that I'm still thinking of it after all this time. She did the makeup for myself, the mothers, and my sister, as well as my MIL's hair, and everything turned out beautifully (I actually wish I'd had her do my hair!).
A bonus is that since she's bilingual, we didn't need a translator in order for my Chilean MIL to convey what she wanted. It was such a pleasure to work with her because she has a very sweet, positive, and calming presence. I also appreciate that she did a trail, and clearly took notes to make changes that she felt were necessary. My husband even told me later that he liked my makeup better on the day of the wedding than on the day of the trial so I appreciate her attention to detail and editing in order to best flatter me on our big day!
I highly recommend Sandra for any of your important events, and I'm hoping to work with her again soon for some upcoming maternity photos!

Trying to find the best makeup artist, especially bridal makeup, can surprisingly be both difficult and scary. I reached out to Sandra about a potential booking and she immediately got back to me. We had our first phone call and I knew immediately that she knew what she was doing. Not only is Sandra experienced in her craft but she has a legitimate love for her clients. She wants them to feel their most beautiful-self and it shows. She works with you and not against you which is hard to find in the makeup industry. Being a girlie that loved to dabble in my own makeup, I wanted to find an artist that would actually listen to my wants and not just tell me what I need. Her professional is incredible but her ability to make you feel comfortable and at home is even better. If you’re looking for a makeup artist for any reason I would highly recommend Sandra due to her sheer talent, how well she works with her clients, and most importantly how beautiful she makes you feel inside and out.
