Five Stars is an Understatement. Theres so much history here, photography and autographs of influential people through the decades. Traditional “Barber shop” feel that you don’t find often. Great cut, authentic experience, top notch service. Ask for Mike!

I have been getting my haircut here since I was five years old at the Buckley School around the corner. It’s a classic New York City staple, and they give a great haircut at a reasonable price. Carmine, Guido, Adrian, and Moses are the best. So thankful they reopened!

Mike, the son of the owner, has been cutting my hair for years and he's truly great. I always walk out of there with exactly the haircut I want. It's not one of those needs-to-grow out; I look great when I get back to the office.
He's funny as hell, too; get him started talking about fishing and you'll have a good time.

Nice people but that’s the only reason I give 3 stars. I went for a hot shave. Cut up my neck, didn’t fully shave left hair to be shaved. Also afterwards I looked in mirror and still was covered with hair that wasn’t wiped off after shave. Had to go home and reshave to finish the $60 job I paid for. Disappointed in my first and last hot shave I will ever get. Sorry but it wasn’t worth it for me having to go home clean my face and reshave it

I have been using Paul Mole for about 7 years now. I go to Benny and he is absolutely amazing and so nice. He gives me a great cut every time and makes sure to set the line on my beard each time. I go to him before big meetings and job interviews because I know he will give me a proper, professional business cut. I'd give even more stars if I could!

Over priced for the quality. I would pay 100.00 for an amazing haircut. They charged me 50.00 and I didn’t even get what asked for. I had a picture as well. Didn’t get shaved even though it’s offered on the website. Didn’t get washed, also offered. I told him not to cut the top, he cut it always. Never going back. 2nd worst haircut I’ve ever had in my life

I travel to New York almost monthly for work and always try to save my haircuts for here over Seattle. Benny walked me through my first straight shave and always gives me a reliable haircut with great conversation. There’s a reason they’ve been doing this for so long.

Sorry, but worst experience ever. In order to handle as many customers as possible my guy rushed crazy. Had a cut and shave. He started with the shave and while the foam - I don’t know - needed to soak, he cut another customer. Then when it was my turn: 10 mins for the worst cut I got in my life. I didn’t get any aftershave or cream and when I said my skin feels irritated and I would like some, he slapped I don’t know what on my cheeks. Maybe funny for frat boys surely not respectful. For a $100 experience that did not suffice.
