It was a lovely experience for me nonetheless, everything was what I wanted on my nails. It was very easy for me to get my appointment since I came all the way from New York. It is located on Takashita street, so much to see before and after which is a plus! My nail technician was really nice, she took extra time to mix the colors to get the right color for me! Very attentive! Even though she didn’t speak english, it was very easy through google translate. It was a fun and fast process for me. I wish to bring them back to the states!

It was super easy to book an appointment here via Instagram. This salon is small but efficient and high-quality. I came in with super grown out nails, and she transformed them to look amazing. This price was super reasonable (cheap even). I appreciate the precision and efficiency of her work. If I ever come back to Japan, I’d love to come back to this place.

Super easy to book via Instagram DMs, make sure to book at least three/four weeks in advance to get the day and time you want. Location was easy to find, and the studio was super clean and staff was very friendly and considerate. Now onto the most important part, the nails, I’m obsessed with how they turned out! The time and intricate detail that went into to them is unmatched to anything I’ve seen here in the states. She literally spent 40+ minutes cleaning/shaping alone, and then the designs themselves took the rest of the time, everything was done so professionally, super impressed and will definitely be returning next time I am in Japan. Nothing but amazing reviews for Kaede! Book with her asap!

This is my personal opinion as someone who had trainings from professionals and who’s doing their own nails - for a reason.

I wanted to spoil myself once by not doing my own nails for vacation and I regret listening to all the good reviews - just because I have my own standards!
If you’re used to an all-inclusive service, maybe that’s not your store. If you love the bare minimum and don’t care about nail static, that’s your store!

Pro: cute stuff / store owner, cute color

Con: no preparation at all. No primer, no base, just a clear base, color and topcoat. No manicure.
The clear gel is just applied flat. Not even aware of building an apex, for your nails health. The gel got applied uneven, so my tip is thicker than then in the middle of my nail. The baseline got ruined at one of my thumbs, luckily I saw it so I could safe the second thumb. Ruining the baseline is sich a ko- criterion. Rip static the second. Tbh I’m worried if these nails make it through three weeks here in Japan.
The worst part: no sterilization of the tools. Be aware that they’ll work on your hands with used bits, used clippers and used files! That’s nasty. In general: the table and all the tools are used, not cleaned properly and look nasty.

Wanted my nails done before I came back to NYC, and now I need to go to Japan every two weeks for new nails ? very professional, fast, and efficient! I had acrylics removed and this design done. They speak English as well if that’s something you’re worried about. Make sure to stop here while in Tokyo! Someone in these reviews also posted on how to find the suite once you’re up the stairs.

Making a reservation was super easy via IG DM and they have english speaking staff. Kirara was my nail tech and she was super meticulous and thorough! I love the attention to detail she had and made sure I was happy with my nails each step of the way.

Although there was a language barrier, we were able to communicate with an app. Overall an amazing experience and I would definitely recommend to those looking to get their nails done around the busy Shibuya area here 🙂

She was able to fit me in same day! Asked through instagram dms. Location is easy to find, if you go to photos someone has posted the outside of the place. Go up the stairs, floor 4, ring bell! She was so friendly and her English is very good! I got the gel manicure magnetic nails. I tried two different colors but ended up getting this pretty mauve pink. 10/10 experience!! Definitely recommend
