I scheduled an appointment for hair & makeup very last minute, but Mina was so accommodating to my schedule and my face condition. I had gotten a facial a week ago, and my face was turned upside down.. very sensitive and red spots, and unevenness in the facial texture. But she knew exactly what needed to be done!! I was so surprised to see all the redness and bumps be covered up like there was nothing to begin with. And even after I removed all the makeup, my skin wasn't irritated at all.
She is also very sweet and funny! I was with her for more than 2 hrs due to my skin condition, but there was never a dull moment 🙂
I trust her expertise and experience, and I will choose her again for my next special occasion! Thank you Mina 🙂

I have the monolid + hooded Asian eyes and combination skin. Jessica heard all my concerns on how I wanted to look for my work day (hint: not giving me 4-inch jet black eyeliner like other MUAs I've worked with before) and even gave me enough coverage based on how long I was going to be out and about since I had pretty hectic schedule that day.

Jessica also offers personal color analysis and makeup class, can't wait to work with her again!

After you've booked them, you can text them pictures of your face and current hair situation. And also your dress, if you're getting married. They'll know what style suits you best, but will also ask you for your preferences. You can create a Google Photos album / Pinterest board with inspiration and pictures of styles you like, so they can get a good idea of what you're thinking.

There will be tip added at the end, which is fine. For big jobs that are remote, it's recommended to tip 20-25% for stylists.

I was trying to look for someone to help do hair and makeup a week before I had a photo shoot and was so glad I came across the Sung Team.

Sung was very responsive from the start and followed up during the week to make sure that we knew where we had to go and what to expect. Plus, there is parking in Koreatown, where one of the studios is (the other in Fullerton). Huge plus already there.

Esther was easy to talk to, friendly, and calm, which made the session a breeze. It took about 1 hr 45 mins for both hair and makeup + she also provided a small kit to touch up during the day. I'd come back when I have to do hair and makeup for an occasion!
