I loved working with Samantha! She was very professional and worked with my timeline, and she was also fun to chat with while sitting in the chair. She did bridal hair & makeup as well as maid of honor makeup and we got compliments all night, especially on my hair!! Samantha worked with me to get the bridal look I wanted which included some of my own products, and was also able to create a makeup look for my maid of honor on the fly that complimented her skin tones beautifully! I would definitely recommend her services for both hair and makeup!

I booked Samantha for wedding hair and makeup services for myself, my bridesmaids, and mothers of both bride and groom. I was admittedly pretty late to the game in lining up my wedding day HMUA, and I definitely lucked out in being able to book Samantha. She was responsive, communicative, and worked with my wedding day timeline. I was coming in from out of town for my wedding in Tucson and was not going to be able to make a trip for a hair/makeup trial, and Samantha was great about accommodating me for my trial the day before the wedding. She was friendly, professional, efficient, and skilled, which were all came in handy for the big day as I and my wedding party were a a big whirlwind of chaos. I was having an outdoor wedding at sunset in a rustic ranch setting, and she did a great job of doing my makeup to fit that setting and lighting.

In short, can't recommend Samantha enough!

Samantha was truly amazing! She was so accommodating to all of my bridesmaids and mother and mother-in-law on the day of my wedding, some wanted extra stuff done that was not accounted for in the schedule, and Samantha had no issue with them at all. She is so personable and did just a fantastic job giving every girl the exact look she wanted, and gave us such a relaxed atmosphere to get ready in! I could not imagine my wedding day being as wonderful without Samantha. She is definitely one of my favorite vendors for the day, highly recommend!

That on top of just an amazing talent and true passion for her work is exactly what makes her the perfect hair and makeup professional for special events. I had the pleasure of having Samantha do my hair and makeup on my wedding day this past weekend. She not only showed up on time and with a great knowledge from the trial I had with her back in June, but she truly took what direction I was going for in terms of my look and made it even better than I thought it could be! All I heard all night was how beautiful I look and also my hair and makeup truly did stay together all night - even with dancing, crying, and laughing! Her team was also very professional and sweet with my bridesmaids who also got their hair and makeup done. What a treat to have had Samantha be a part of our special day!! I can't wait to look back on photos.

I couldn’t have asked for a better MUA for my wedding.

Samantha’s MU/hair trials were very reasonably priced. I came in without a very good idea of what I wanted (somehow I skipped looking up makeup inspiration on Pinterest). Sam was exceptionally patient and kind, and worked hard to make sure that I felt absolutely perfect with my look.

Figuring out who was getting hair and makeup done was a bit of a mess for my bridal party, but Sam gracefully accommodated all the changes we ended up making easily, even up to the day before the wedding. It took off so much stress for the day.

On the actual wedding day, Sam made sure to come a little bit early. Some of the bridal party ended up being late (it’s not a wedding without mishaps), and Sam patiently calmed my nerves and made the most of the situation. None of my girls had hair or makeup trials, but everyone absolutely loved Sam’s work on them. Even with the complications, everyone was ready in time for the pre-wedding pictures without feeling rushed.

Sam made us all feel so beautiful that everyone in the bridal party said they wanted to cry when it came time to wash the makeup off ?. I couldn’t give Minkus Makeup a higher recommendation.

After discovering Sam on the knot and fawning over her Instagram, I knew I had to use her for my wedding hair/makeup! And I am so happy I did because she was amazing! Working with her throughout my wedding hair/makeup process was one of the best parts of my wedding. Sam was always professional - she promptly responded to all requests, organized a day-of schedule to keep us on track and communicated with me throughout the whole process. We worked together to find inspiration online and via Pinterest. I’m not someone who normally wears a lot of makeup so I went into my trial not knowing exactly what I wanted. So Sam helped suggest ideas, show me pictures, and experiment with different styles until I found something I liked. I felt like I was just hanging out and putting on makeup with a girlfriend. She made me feel supported and comfortable - she was open to feedback and kept trying different things until I arrived at the look I loved! I enjoyed her makeup at my trial so much that I also used Sam for my bachelorette party. She went total night-out glam and made me feel so sexy! This shows her versatility - she's able to create various looks and all are equally amazing. On my wedding day, she was extremely efficient. She brought in an assistant to help and did the hair and makeup for me, my six bridesmaids, mother and mother-in-law. Everyone raved about their makeup! Her airbrushing was lighter and more natural looking than other makeup artists I’ve used before. She was able to take ideas from all nine of us and make us look unique, but also part of the same wedding party. Besides being an amazing makeup artist, she is also fabulous at doing hair! She managed to whip up the perfect updo in under 30 minutes. I plan on recommending Sam to everyone I know! Working with her was one of the best parts of my whole wedding experience. She was able to take my vision and turn it in to something better than I could’ve imagined.

I have worked with Sami for multiple bridal occasions (bridal shower, ceremony, and reception) and she has done an phenomenal job on my hair and makeup every time. I requested three different looks and hairstyles for each of my events, and she completely nailed all of them and delivered exactly what I wanted!
