We ordered several items in the Marble Falls store for delivery and installation. While our experience in the store with the sales associate was great, our delivery and installation was the very worst experience and Lowe's Corporate is refusing to make it right. The local store manager was supposed to call me for 2 days now and I have yet to hear from him. Also when you call the local number you are put on hold and then disconnected. No one comes to the phone. We were told that one item in our order would be warehouse shipped by a 3rd party delivery service and that they would install, etc. This was a very large and heavy tool/work bench. Instead they dropped it in our driveway sitting on 2 wood pallets directly in front of our garage door leaving us unable to access our garage. We were home and nobody even bothered to come to the door to tell us they were here to deliver. Lowe's says they cannot do anything to help us with it because THEY chose to use another company. They did tell us, however, that our remaining order items (which were deivered) would be a Lowe's- owned delivery and that the crew doing that install would be able to assist us with the work bench remaining in our driveway. The people who showed said "No, we don't work for Lowe's and we can't help you with this". They were very rude and had to borrow our own tools to install our garage refrigerator. We will be taking our business elsewhere in the future. Lowe's needs a complete do-over on their shipping procedures and need to ensure that their customers are not left dealing with subpar third party contractors. Very disappointing Lowe's.

As far as the in-store customer service it was great and the only saving grace for this endless cycle of mediocrity.

Don't fall for the pay & install prank like I did.

Purchased a Washer and Dryer in-store and set up my delivery date and time.
(With 4 hour long windows of time, as if people can take a half day just to wait for an installation)

The guys showed up and installed the fridge that was ordered by my property manager.

Then dropped off the Washer and Dryer, said they would be back in the morning, but never gave me a time. I asked repeatedly and they just said "in the morning".

After calling Lowes to verify the time, I spent over an hour going through the loop and being put on hold time and time again.

All that so they could delay my installation time and date 2 days later than what was originally scheduled.

I regret believing an established store like Lowes would have their things working more efficient.

If you can, shop from a smaller more customer service focused place that will prioritize each order and not just go by the demand of the masses.

"Cliff" was in the plumbing section and offered his assistance to us. He listened intently to what our RV project was, and helped us find the items we were looking for. But, then he dug a little deeper into our project and gave us a completely different, more cost effective, approach. He was very polite and knowledgeable. We appreciated his patience and effort to help complete our project. A+ in Customer Service Cliff!

Unlike the other big box store on the south side of Marble Falls, Lowe's has never referred me to another store for what I need. When I need help or have a question, employees are there to help. Not play hide and seek as it seems with the other store.
The nursery department is great! The employees assigned to the nursery department are very helpful.
From plants to post, I highly recommend Lowe's in Marble Falls.

Have time to burn? This is your place! Pro checkout usually has one register open and a whole line of customers. For entertainment you can watch four other cashiers horse around not helping customers while you wait. Returns are similar but worse. You get to wait even longer for each return, but again, ample opportunity to watch groups of staff cut up and joke around while you wait. If you need some time to yourself, just go down the aisles- there’s no staff to be found there!

Went to this store for water softener salt, a pretty simple task. I told the lady in the self checkout line that I wanted 2 bags to which she replied, "which one?" I told her the yellow bag so she rang me up for 2. Simple enough except they only had 1 bag left. I went and told her and she said if they had anymore, it would be in plumbing. Went back to that department weaving my way through Lowes's employees blocking aisles talking to each other and generally not helpful. They didn't have what I needed again. I then had to go to Customer Service to have what I had already bought refunded and then have all the items rung up again. At that point I said to myself lets just return the 1 bag and get a refund on the bag they didn't have and go to another store. Went down the street to Walmart and found a plentiful supply of what I needed at $2.50 less a bag! What upset me the most is the non helpfulness of the employees at this store and for no fault of my own, the hassles they put me through. This store definitely needs to work on their customer service skills. Not good.
