I just finished the 3 week Master Class with Julie at JLS. I had a great experience and would highly recommend the course to anyone interested in learning how to do makeup professionally or on themselves. Julie is patient and very thorough in explaining all the techniques. I was able to work on models the very first day which was a great way to jump right in. The makeup kit I received contains everything I need to begin a career as a makeup artist. Thank you JLS and Julie for a fantastic experience.

JLS Makeup School is the BEST professional makeup school in the world. Julie Schiffer my instructor is so talented and professional. Our class went over every single look in complete detail which makes it very easy to learn. I traveled very far to come and take the course and it was worth every penny. The makeup kit we received was stocked with the most amazing makeup and the airbrush machine comes with the best makeup that gives super flawless skin. I loved JLS and will be coming back to do another course. The Masterclass is what I took and we even got booked on a movie. Very affordable and you get a lot for the money.

JLS is definitely the makeup school I would recommend for anyone who wants to become certified in makeup artistry. They really break down the industry for those who want to start working. Beginners and advanced artists can really benefit from the many selections of classes JLS has to offer. I originally purchased the pro class but I came back for the master class because I learned so much valuable information. Our makeup kits are huge and we received a lot of great brands like MAC, Morphe and this really cool Mario lip pallet. In the classes, I also got to promote high end makeup like Chanel. They had beautiful models for us to work on and we received high quality photos for our portfolios. They provide you with everything that you need and when you are done, you receive your certificate and they tell you where you can apply and look for jobs.

I had a great experience working with JLS. I went as a model for the makeup artists to practice on, and the woman who did my makeup (her name was Nada) and Julie, the instructor, did a great job with my makeup, making sure I liked it, and making me feel comfortable throughout the whole process. After my makeup was done, Julie took some amazing photographs of me which I get a copy of. The studio is adorable with a laid back, happy atmosphere. I can't wait to go again!

JLS is home to not only the most humble but the most knowledgeable group of people I have had the pleasure to be around in regards to more then just makeup but photography as well! I was lucky enough to get some photos in the Julie and they turned out absolutely stunning! I would recommend that anyone who may be considering taking a trip down to JLS Professional Make-up Artist School to hesitate no more because I guarantee you wont be disappointed!

JLS instructor is incredibly professional. I got booked for a short film in my first week! The instructor is so caring and has an awesome studio. She has incredible patience it's amazing how much you can learn from her! Makeup kit is so professional and so many celebrity like Zach Efron come to the studio to get his makeup done and you get to work with them! Models and many many more celebrites. Nothing is like JLS and the instructor!!

JSL is so professional and reliable! Julie was so talented and prompt and showed me so much! She taught me everything from the basics to unique techniques and helped me get a boost and in my makeup career. She helped me get great gigs and had excellent models! Highly recommend!

JLS is the #1 makeup school in Hollywood, I loved it! I highly recommend the Master Class. The Instructors have worked on multiple movie sets. They were helpful and talented. They shared all of their makeup tips with us, It was Great!
