Monica at freakys smoke shop and tattoo, (north academy location) is great! Looking for a great tattoo, recommend her. Her detail is great, easy process all around. They take minor w/ parental consent. The store overall is good. Chill, friendly vibes.

The smoke shop is 5 stars.

The tattoo shop not so much... DO NOT COME HERE FOR TATTOOS. Unless you want your tattoo crooked and the ink to not even stay after fading.

I’m visiting from out of town, and needed some supplies - this place was amazing! I LOVE head shops where the staff are friendly and helpful! She was able to help me pick out what I needed, made sure I had the accessories, and was overall super awesome to interact with! I highly recommend this place and will be back for sure!

PS: The mannequin totally got me, I thought it was a person haha!

I absolutely love this shop! It’s my favorite store in town for sure. All the people who work there are super friendly and kind and they always make going in a positive experience. They remember my name and even ask me questions about how my day is going or follow up conversations about different tv shows that we have in common. If they don’t have a product I’m looking for they will tell me when it will be back in stock. They also all seem to enjoy working there and have good attitudes. It honestly makes me wish I worked there myself. I always look forward to going there whenever I need something and I usually walk out feeling happy. It is the best head shop in town forsure!!

Called in advance to make a piercing appointment and an appointment for my boyfriend’s tattoo. Assured me on the phone they could draw up my boyfriends design idea and do it medium.Showed up to appointment they had no idea of appointment for tattoo and told us it would take them a few days to design the tattoo and to come back? proceeded to get my piercing and the piercer was also extremely rude. We went to self made tattoo as a walk in drew his idea in an hour tattooed it 5 star so much better !

I came to Nam in a rush today and he did an excellent job. Definitely didn’t not hurt as much as I thought it would especially since it was on my rib. But I definitely love how Nam did!!!!
