Carl made me feel beautiful on my wedding day. My makeup was absolutely perfect - natural yet everything was enhanced in the best way possible. I felt so beautiful and loved that I didn't look too done up or like I had stage makeup on! Also it was comfortable - I was worried that the eyelashes would bother me, but I didn't even feel them. I also loved that I didn't need to touch it all day - it wore fabulously and I was so distracted I forgot to reapply lipstick - but it wasn't even needed! The wedding party also looked their best - everyone said how young my Mom looked! and the girls had a blast getting all glammed up! Thank you Carl!

Carl is an absolute joy to work with and I was thrilled to have him apply makeup for my wedding rehearsal dinner and welcome party. Not only is he a very talented artist, but he also is lovely, warm, and detailed. I didn't give him really any detail about how I wanted to look, but somehow he was able to work his magic and totally exceed my expectations. I highly recommend Carl for anyone with any skin tone. He will knock it out of the park!

I reached out to Carl in hopes he'd be available for my wedding since I had seen his work in photos of my best friend's sister's wedding back in 2018. Luckily, I had a small bridal party so Carl was willing to come do our make-up after an early morning with another bridal party he had already booked. He was amazing! Everyone looked stunning, he accentuated our features in a bold way, was super pleasant to work with AND was quick! Carl is such a professional and I am so grateful he was able to be a part of my special day.

Carl is the BEST! He did makeup for my May 2022 wedding in DC and everyone looked amazing. It was a little humid with on and off drizzling but we looked flawless all night — even after hours of sweaty dancing. He did such a great job enhancing everyone’s natural features so we all looked like the best versions of ourselves - and not overdone. I loved the way it turned out in photos. I can’t say enough good things … hiring Carl was one of the best decisions for my wedding day!
