Jennifer is the best barber in Reston and Northern Virginia! I have been going to her for over 2 years after trying practically every barber in the area. I cannot recommend her and her barbershop more. She has given me the best haircuts I have ever had. Her barbershop is also very stylish with a nice view of Lake Anne. Most important the barbers here are extremely professional and friendly. If you are looking for a barber is Reston or the area the best one is here.

In my opinion, Barberland Gentlemen's Grooming is the best barbershop in Reston, VA! I have moved here a year ago and haven't found a better barbershop in the area. Not to mention it is placed around Lake Anne, so you could view the lake while getting your haircut! My barber is Jennifer and she is the best! She knows how to cut hair really well. What I like about her is how she touches up even the smallest things. She really pays attention to detail and makes sure you come out of the barbershop with a great haircut. Overall, I highly recommend going to this barbershop to get your haircut! You won't be disappointed at all!

I recently moved from DC to Northern Virginia and was looking for a new place to get haircuts. I'm very glad I found Barberland. Jennifer gave me the best haircut I've had in years. Because it was my first visit, she did an initial consultation and made recommendations on a hairstyle she thought would work better for me. Jennifer is super talented, friendly, and made me feel comfortable throughout the whole process. The shop itself is clean and welcoming. I have gone to different barbers in the area when I first moved here and decided that Barberland was the best option. Highly recommended!

This is a cool little spot I found in Lake Anne, Reston. I got a haircut yesterday at Barberland from Jennifer. She did an awesome job! She was very helpful with choosing a hairstyle that looks great on me and then cutting it perfectly. Face and head massage and old school style with hot towels. Very relaxing and refreshing. I'll definitely recommend Barberland to my friends. Customer service, friendliness, and professionalism we're all top notch. I will definitely come back.

I took my 12 year old here for a walk-in appointment on the 10th of July. I was grateful that they could fit us in and the service was all very friendly, however, I asked for a number 2 fade and the young lady cut it all the same length leaving a long top. There was no fixing it - she’d already sheared it way too high at the back, so we paid and left hoping that it would grow out well..

One month later, his hair had grown out in a uniform length and looked a mess across the back and sides. I messaged and specifically asked if they could fix the previous haircut. We discussed in detail that I just wanted them to add a gradual fade to the back and sides so that it wasn’t all the same length, and to leave the top alone. This is all I wanted.

Unfortunately, the chap who cut his hair gave him a severely short, high ‘fade’ which wasn’t at all blended. He’d also cut a lot off the top, but I couldn’t really focus on this when looking at a modern day fade-bowl-cut. I asked for it to be blended further and he did his best, but there already wasn’t much to work with. He made a marginal improvement and I paid and tipped like the overly apologetic Brit that I am, and then we left.

I feel awful because they are such lovely people.. but having given them the opportunity to fix their mistakes, they’ve presented us with newer ones. I can’t imagine we’ll return here because I just don’t trust that they’re truly listening, even though they obviously have the skills to do a decent job.

(I’ve added specific details to this review because I have seen them replying a lot to poor reviews with a denial that the reviewer never attended. Again, not a great sign..)

Just moved here and was nervous about finding a new barber. I have since gotten my hair cut by Jennifer and John here and I am super impressed.

It’s always hard to find a good barber and I can tell you this is the place to be!
