I had a wonderful experience here! Michelle did an amazing job and was so patient with me. It was my first time dying my hair so I was so nervous but she was so incredible and I’m very happy with the results! She is so talented!
I also had a super thorough consultation with Emily and she did a great job answering all my questions!
The assistant Daphne is also awesome!
Overall a great experience and I definitely recommend! 🙂

I recently went in for a partial highlight and cut. I had very long hair and wanted a couple inches off, Joe did good with my highlights and the pre-cut but when it came to do the finishing cut it seemed he cut off anything that was tangled. Which led to my hair being much shorter than I had wanted. Also the layers ended up being very choppy and I had to fix that myself once I got home. Disappointing for how expensive it was.

I didn’t enjoy my experience here. I came in for a regular haircut, but the stylist told me I needed a specialty curly haircut due to my hair texture. I was okay with that at first, thinking it would be a more tailored, premium cut. Instead, the stylist didn’t really analyze my curl pattern or offer any recommendations based on my hair texture. He trimmed only the outer layers of my hair and styled it his own way without asking for my input. Now afterwards my hairstyle looks uneven. When I asked to take more off the sides, he said ‘we didn’t have time.’ For $80-90, I expected better. It felt like I was just upcharged for having curly hair, which seemed unfair, if not discriminatory. I’ll be going to a regular barbershop next time.

I used to avoid getting haircuts like the plague! I have really thick, long hair which makes it difficult for most stylists to cut. I am very particular and have high expectations whenever getting a haircut. For years I went to the highest end salons hoping that high price points would match the quality of work willing to pay whatever expense to be satisfied with the end result. I also read reviews upon reviews, trying to find the best stylist only to end up, disappointed time after time. After years of searching, I lost hope and would try to go as long as a year in between haircuts. That is until I found Eli at Bang Salon!! He truly is the best at what he does and at very reasonable price points! I have been a faithful client of his for 3 years now and always look forward to my 3 month haircuts with him!!
