I went here for a beard trim from Mikey. He was awesome and took his time to make sure it was done right. He was also easy to talk to and get along with. Will definitely be back to see him. The shop itself is a great atmosphere and plenty of space inside.

Tim, Is a barber there and for some reason, he thinks that his time is more important than his customers. First time I went to him I waited 15 minutes. Second time I went to him, with an appointment, I waited again 15 minutes toI find out that he double booked himself so I ended up leaving.
This barbershop does not get busy enough to make that kind of mistake.
He says he’s been doing it for 40 years.. If that’s true, then you would think, he would understand and respect people’s time.
I guess thats why he’s working out some hole in the wall barbershop after 40 years.
Very unprofessional.
Complete waste of time.

Not many barbers open in my area of CLT on Sunday, decided to try to do a walk-in appt and have lunch in Midwood.

I was greeted by Joe and he said that he'd get to me next. Had a short chat about my hair and what we could do with it. Decided to tweak my normal style just a bit.

Compared to your typical "great clips, super cuts, etc" he spent a good amount of time with little details and the finished cut looks amazing!

Can safely say ive found my go-to barber!! Thanks Joe!!

I had an appointment with Chris for a haircut, but it was canceled just minutes before the scheduled time. I was very disappointed with the lack of professionalism and customer service. I had planned my day around this appointment. This experience left me frustrated and I won't be returning."

I dont mind paying for a great hearcut ,but not to some overpriced hair buchers. Im excluding Chris from this review, dude is skilled.

I had an 11:30 appointment today with Lola. I arrived at 11:30. One of the gentlemen there asked who I was here to see and I told him Lola for 11:30. He told me that she was finishing up with a customer and to sit at the waiting area. I waited until noon without her acknowledging that I was there, zero communication, she was still working on this other guy and chit chatting with some girl, and did not appear to be close to being finished. I approached her to tell her that I could not wait any longer and I need my money refunded and I need to go. She said that she would refund it, but didn’t offer any sort of apology. I felt like I didn’t matter as a customer. One other girl did inquire about how I was doing, and I appreciated that, but Lola didn’t give me any hint that she really cared. I wonder if I will actually receive a refund.

Update: I did indeed get my refund. So I’m happy about that.

I highly recommend this place usually for any and all hair and beard trimming or styling. Joe does a fantastic job every time.

However, I would advise being very specific with what you want or some of them will do their own thing and it will screw you over if you don’t like it.

I do NOT recommend Lola. She is very nice and sweet however I don’t know what happened but she shaved my mustache short so I now have a pencil mustache (which looks awful on me and didn’t ask for); gave me the worst fade on my head I’ve ever seen; my beard is uneven; and to top of all off she was 20 minutes late to the appointment. However she didn’t watch the clock so that made it a bit better.

Overall a great place with good people but this recent appointment was terrible and just ruined my look for the next month.
