What a joy it was to visit Friar Tuck's Barbershop. Noah is amazing and so kind. My kiddo is floating around after having the perfect cut and the greatest conversations. Truly the queerest and kindest barbershop we've ever experienced. We will drive down from Wyoming again for another visit...it's that great. Thank you! <3

After I shaved my head I went to a salon the first time I needed a trim- bad idea. I questioned the shave because my haircut did not compliment me. My partner suggested I try his barber instead, Kylee has been wonderful. I never had short hair before and she's made it effortless to love my new cut and she's teaching me how to style it. Endless compliments, I haven't regretted my drastic cut since I started seeing her. She's passionate about her work and does a lot for the community. Her place is always perfect and welcoming. I'm a new barbering fan, and I'm referring all the short haired folks I know to her! Last time I got the scalp treatment as well and that was dreamy!

I scheduled a last minute appointment with Noah and it was by far the best haircut experiece I have had in my life. He is very kind and welcoming and took into account all the hopes that I had going into the cut. He even gave me some advice on what hair products to use to maintain the style. I’m extremely thankful for this shop and would recommend to anyone!

I’m so happy I found this truly QTIPOC friendly salon in SLC. Kylee is an incredibly sweet and talented barber and their prices are super affordable, so now I can actually get my hair cut when I need it every few weeks. You can tell Kylee takes many covid precautions and I felt very safe getting my hair cut. ☺️

Kylee took the time to ask me questions and get a real sense of what I was going for, and I absolutely love how it turned out. They used both shears and clippers and got the fade and layers just right. I also like that they use local natural hair products and sells them at their shop.

Kylee is the best and her shop is the jam. 5 stars, no question! This was my first time going to Friar Tuck's after getting a referral. I wanted to keep my hair longer than my preCOVID cut after not getting more than 1 haircut in almost a year. The last time I cut it and tried to keep it long, it didn't work so well. Walked Kylee through what I was hoping for, even if I explained it poorly, I left with a fantastic result! She was patient, provided guidance and pro tips, and SUPER personable. Great convo, welcoming shop, and chill vibe. The perfect barber shop and Kylee is clearly the heart of it. My search for a barber since moving to SLC is now over.
