Lara and her team are beyond fabulous. I signed my daughter (12) up kind of last minute and she ended up going for 4 weeks because it was just that much fun. Her younger brother joined for the last week and also had a great time. Highly recommend.

My daughter was so nervous at first but had the most amazing time during her day of mini-camp! I was really impressed with the items she made, having little experience with sewing beforehand.

My daughter loved MakeIt Studios mini camp! She came home so proud of her sewing project and all the new things she had tried, even using a sewing machine for the very first time. Her craft is adorable and she's already asked to join a weekly after school program next fall!

My kids love the camp here! If you worry about your 7-13yo kid getting pricked with a pin/needle, cutting themselves, or using a sewing machine then this is NOT the camp for you.

My kids were here for Kawaii week. The first time I picked them up they were excited to tell me about using a sewing machine and how getting pricked with a pin is no big deal. We had a camp (it wasn’t art or textile specific) that offered a fashion class but my 9 yo had to put her outfit together with a stapler ?. So far at Make It!, they have made stuffies (see pusheen in boba tea and Totoro), wallet, slippers, sunglasses, and skirts. Can’t wait to see what else they made during the Friday fashion show!

My daughter was very happy to participate in the camp. She enjoyed seeing the fruits of her efforts and learning from the guides. The studio feels like it has a great balance as a productive learning environment where children also feel at ease. Thank you, MakeIt Studio!

My daughter and I took the Pom Pom class today and absolutely loved it!! We had a wonderful time, we did not want to class to end. Lara was amazing with everyone participating, the pace for each part of the class was perfect, and you did not feel bad asking her to review any parts you may have missed or needed to see again. My daughter is 6 and totally kept up with all the steps. The kids and parents were very entertained from beginning to end. I hope the do birthday parties!! I totally recommend! I can not wait until the weather is nicer so we can go take an in person class. Registering for the class was also very easy to do. I am an on the go working mommy and appreciate quick and simple things to do with my kids.

We have done several week long camps here. It’s absolutely creative and the kids create so much during just a few days at camp. Highly recommend!

This camp is so amazing! My daughter (8) has attended first time this summer for 5 weeks and learned so much. Lara and her team fill the days with fun sewing and art projects, and you’ll be amazed at how quickly your child learns to sew. Each week has it’s own theme and completes with a fun fashion show. Thank you Lara! Looking forward to next summer)
