I recently completed my 4 week mua program with the New York makeup academy . I must say I was nervous about the experience , but let me say it was everything and more ! The instructors were so knowledgeable and friendly ! I asked many questions and also got great feed back and responses to my curious mind . I also received 2 bridal hair classes and the instructor was very patience with me and helped me achieve great styles . I always had a love for makeup , now with my skills I feel comfortable to start my freelancing journey. I can’t wait to see what opportunities I receive and will be looking out for their fashion show bootcamp in the future .

I highly recommend New York Makeup Academy to anyone looking to learn makeup! My experience there was fantastic. The instructors were incredibly knowledgeable, and I learned so much from them. The opportunities they provided for New York Fashion Week were phenomenal! The key artists were exceptionally helpful and experienced. Working backstage taught me how to thrive in a fast-paced environment, which was invaluable. I wholeheartedly recommend this academy to everyone!

I loved my summer program here!!! Had the most fun and made lots of friends. All of the teachers are amazing and so talented. I 100% would love to come back for another course to keep being part of this amazing academy with the best and most talented people. This school can really elevate and bring your artistry to the next level. As a professional MUA who is working mainly with clients and does editorial work, I was looking for a channel to be more creative and find a community of likeminded artists. NY Makeup Academy has become my makeup family, starting from creative mentors to fellow artists, this has been a mind blowing experience.
