My hair and makeup for my wedding were beautiful! Shyanne and Chelsy did a great job and were very fun, professional and easy to work with. I would definitely recommend their services! However, I do wish communication leading up to the wedding would have been better. When reaching out to set up my trial after booking, I had to contact them multiple times and wait a long time before I heard anything back. Later when I reached out about our wedding day schedule, I was told that it would be sent to me by a certain date but I never received it until the week before the wedding. I was told it had been sent but they had some sort of glitch with their booking system. Overall, I found it difficult to get in touch with them and the lack of communication added some unnecessary stress during the wedding planning process. Otherwise, the service was 5 stars!

The vibe is immaculate and the makeup is amazing. This is my glam place. Shyanne knows what the f$&% she’s doing. She listens to me, is so kind and focused, and gets the job DONE. Highly recommend.

Had my makeup and hair done for maternity photos and it was such a great experience. I had Nina for makeup and Shyanne for hair. They worked on me simultaneously and I went from looking homeless to full glam in an hour. It was so easy to book and my makeup looked absolutely flawless. I had my makeup done at 1 pm and it literally looked perfect until I took it off at 10 pm that day. My lipstick didn't even budge!! I have no idea how that's possible. My hair was so perfect! They clipped in extensions for me that I brought from home and made them look so seamless with my hair. I got so many compliments on my hair throughout the day. My husband loved both hair and makeup too which is always a plus. Definitely going back and using this place for any event I ever have going on.

Absolutely love this place! Such a cute vibe and very friendly staff. I used The Makeup Bar for my wedding in June and they listened to exactly what I wanted. I also have very sensitive skin and they were very accommodating to my needs. I have also attended one of The Makeup Bar's events, as a team bonding with my staff, and we had a great time! Couldn't recommend them enough 🙂

Disappointed with my hair, the makeup looked good, but my hair was nowhere close to what I wanted. I wanted some volume, and I ended up with a flat updo for my daughter's wedding. I had to go home and redo it myself. Very expensive lesson, to end up having to end up doing it myself. Again, the makeup was really good.
