I had a full head of hair long enough to put in a bun when I walked in here. Attached you’ll find a photo of me wearing the hairstyle I asked for and that I showed the barber before the cut. The other photo is what I got..and it was greased down and combed through back when he presented it in the shop. I genuinely just didn’t know what to say from shock so I paid and went home to shower and see just how different it was from what I asked for and..sheeesh.

I’m understanding of variance but these are two wildly different cuts and coming from a FULL head of hair to get my first cut and get this blows. Probably going to need to end up just buzzing my head. Also just not a very inviting place. 0/0 experience

Eddie is the best barber!! I moved to Arizona from Ohio and I didn’t think I’d find as good as a barber that I had in Ohio. After many attempts I finally stumbled upon Eddie and was hooked. He did my haircut exactly how I like it. It’s been about 2 1/2 years now that I see Eddie about once every 2 weeks and his quality has not wavered. I even followed him to the new shop here in a prime Scottsdale location even though I live in Tempe. If you’re looking for a new barber or just want to elevate your cut. Eddie is the barber for you!!!

Eddie has been giving me the freshest cuts for the better part of 6 years. Been following him since the Empire Barbershop days, and he never disappoints! I moved months ago 40 minutes away from his current shop, but his cuts remain worth driving for. Ask for Eddie, he’s well worth the wait ‍♂️?

Eddy… Been in Scottsdale for a couple months and we ALL know what it’s like to find a new barber… It’s like finding a good wife… Eddy is hands down the best in the game. Truly cares about his craft. Most barbers are inconsistent and you get a different cut every week. Stop looking and book with this dude.

I went in with 9 months of hair growth, requesting a middle-part flow, with a low taper on the sides. I also asked for some texture and a reduction in length on top, as the weight was preventing my hair from flowing back properly. I told the barber to have some creative freedom, as I understand each barber has their own style. Unfortunately, the haircut was horrible. Despite spending over an hour and a half on the cut, the barber ended up removing about 80% of my hair. I have naturally really thick hair, and it was clear the barber struggled with the fade. If you have medium-length or thick hair, then do not go here. Although the barber did not charge me for his mistake, I would not want someone else to go through this.

The previous reviewer was spot on - they cut all your hair off. I have (had) a long Mohawk, and just wanted the sides buzzed and the breakage taken out. I also asked for some of the bulk to be thinned out from the back. Eddy begins chopping big 3” chunks from the back of my hair - making it completely choppy and uneven. His response when I was shocked was “You should’ve said something.” I’m not sure how he could’ve heard anything over the blaring TV or his own singing at random times. He felt bad, so he took $4 off the total. Worst haircut I’ve ever had, and not a friendly atmosphere. Eddy talked about how much he enjoyed doing the guys hair before mine, but I was just rushed. I explained what I wanted, and my hair is easy to do - I believe the other negative reviews on here are very relevant, and I would never return or recommend. It will be months before this all grows back.
